Shit I might never get on a plane again w/o a mask.
Because of my dad's last illness and death and my job as executor I flew from CO to DC six or seven roundtrips last year during the height of the pandemic. I had never been as conscious of how much of other people's shit you breathe in on a plane as the COVID precautions made me. and that was with one person per row.
I remember a passenger next to me once many years ago wearing a mask, and thinking, she's a little out there. No more.
(I'm not talking COVID, I'm talking the common cold, or the flu. Why elevate your chances on either unpleasantness, trivial as they may be?)
there only other place besides transportation (including buses, rapid transit, subways), after this passes? Doctors' office waiting rooms and ERs. Yuck.
